Winter 2012

Still shooting for HEILD along with some other projects. Retired my wheelchair for my leg-braces, which is the first step towards my full recovery from the spinal cord injury I suffered a year ago.

Summer 2011

Adapting to a new life in a wheelchair, but still focused on my new project: “HEILD” filming all summer and into winter, got into the Icelandic Filmschool but it went bankrupt in August when it was supposed to start. The second time filmschool plans fail, so I´m thinking it´s a sign and I´ll do it “Tarantino style”.

Winter 2011

My life has taken a 180° turn, on new years eve I had a terrible accident, a huge fall down a cliff which resulted in a bleeding to my brain, collapsed bleeding lungs, broken rib and a serious spinal cord injury. Current location is Reykjavik, Iceland and I´ll stay here for some time and recover from my injury which is paralysis from waist down. I can still film, and I will walk again.

Autumn 2010

The filmmaking studies went out the window because of student loan/fees payment plans not working out. Moved to Innsbruck, Austria instead, kind of the original home of TrailerPark Studios. Working here until spring to save up some money and try to get my hands on some freelance filmjobs.

Summer/Autumn 2010

Left earlier for Barcelona, Spain than planed, settling down here and studying Spanish before the filmmaking studies start in October. Upgraded cameragear, bought the Sony NXCAM HXR-NX5 camcorder.

Winter/Spring 2010

At home in Reykjavik, Iceland. Working here until I start studying filmmaking in Spain in October. Built my track dolly and the jibcrane.

Living in Narvik, Northern Norway. Working at the local skiresort as a snowcanon operator and liftie.

Roadtripping New Zealand, driving around the country with my girlfriend Anna in our campervan Lola Ferrari.

Winter/spring 2009

Hitchhiking around Patagonia, South America, with Chris and Haukur, filming a documentary called “In Patagonia”.  Living in Buenos Aires, Argentina studying Spanish.

Summer/autumn 2008

Working in Iceland, saving money for the 2009 adventure. Serious financial crisis strikes Iceland means the travel coming up has to be done the cheap way.

Traveling around East Europe, editing the snowboard film Getting There, chilling at the Roskilde festival and back to Iceland.

Doing a season in Innsbruck Austria, snowboarding and filming Getting There, hitchhiking around West Europe.

Taking a break in school to do a work-season in Sölden Austria. Bought a small Samsung camcorder. Moved to Innsbruck, lived in a trailer in a trailerpark along with Arnþór, Haukur and Arnar. This was the beginning of TrailerPark Studios.
