Thrihnjukagigur Decent

Today at 12:00 sharp we will venture into an ancient magma chamber of a volcano, into the Thrihnjukagigur volcano. This camber seems to be the only place in the world to view a volcano from the inside. We´ll decend 120meters below the surface and try to capture the decent and the camber itself with our cameras. This is the hardest location for the film HEILD but also one of the most exiting. BTS and news on this mission right here on the site, as soon as we lived it and left. The Church

I shot this short film of the local church in Narvik, Northern Norway to try out my newly built aluminum track dolly. It was a little challenging because it was freezing outside, the temperature was from -10 to -17°c the three evenings it took me to shoot it. A tutorial how to build a dolly like the one I used is available HERE. Music by: myself using Pro Scores. Shot with: Sony HDR-SR1 Resolution: 1080i Some pictures of the shooting...
